About The Role
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate project management governance expert to play a key role in strengthening the City's project management capability and governance framework.
Reporting to the Service Manager Organisational Capability and Performance, you will provide specialist advice and oversight relating to project governance, frameworks, systems, reporting and performance analysis. You will work closely with project managers and internal stakeholders to ensure consistency, compliance and best practice across the City's project portfolio.
This role also coordinates high‐quality project reporting to executive and governance forums, contributes to continuous improvement of project methodologies and provides training and support to project personnel across the organisation.
About You
We're seeking a skilled and collaborative project governance professional with a strong focus on consistency, compliance and continuous improvement. You will bring a proactive, analytical mindset and the ability to influence and support stakeholders across a complex organisation.
Key Qualifications
* A tertiary qualification in project management or a related field
* Demonstrated experience in a corporate project management or governance role
* Strong knowledge of project management frameworks, governance and compliance
* Experience providing expert advice, reporting and analysis to inform decision making
* Sound financial acumen, including experience with budget planning and cost reporting
* High‐level interpersonal, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
* A current WA Drivers Licence (C Class)

Salary
Starting from Level 8 Step 1 – Step 4 ($121,675 – $128,901 per annum) City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025 based on qualification and experience.
