MIGAS Apprentices and Trainees – Lismore NSW
We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified electricians who are interested in gaining a dual trade through an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprenticeship for a large host employer.
This position will work from Lismore to the Tweed Valley areas in Northern NSW.
Our Host has one of the world's largest portfolios of building products, technologies, software, and services with nearly 2,000 locations worldwide.
Undertaking this apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become qualified in this specialist trade while completing your UEE***** Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
Job prospects remain strong – as more homes and businesses rely on cooling systems, your skills will be needed for installation as well as maintenance and repair work.

Job Details
Working under the direction of qualified tradespeople, duties will include:
Assisting with installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC equipment in commercial facilities
Working at heights and using general hand tools and other industry specific tooling
About You
Are you a good problem solver, have a natural talent for maths, and enjoy working with your hands?
Are you wanting something with variety and have always been drawn to operating, installing, and servicing electrical goods?

We are looking for:
Already qualified in an electrical trade but keen to upskill further
A mature mindset.
If you have completed a first trade and are looking to complete a second we would be interested in talking to you.
A team player who is willing to listen, learn and follow instructions
Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of hand and power tools
Ability to adapt to new situations
Good communication skills
Well presented
Punctual and reliable
Driver's licence
Construction White Card
Pre-employment medical
COVID-19 and flu vaccination certificate (due to NSW Health site access requirements), with a requirement to have a yearly flu vaccination
Good safety awareness
