3-month contract with a leading SaaS healthcare company Consult the business and drive design decisions, not just execution Hybrid working, 3 days in the office - Melbourne Environment A leading SaaS company in the healthcare sector is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to help shape the user experience of their cutting-edge medical software. This is a hands-on design role that also requires consulting the business, providing design leadership, and taking initiative in driving best-practice UX. What you will do Partner with business stakeholders to consult, challenge, and guide design decisions in line with user needs and product vision. Take initiative in defining and shaping user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. Create and maintain a design system to ensure consistency across the platform. Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver user-focused solutions. Participate in user feedback sessions and usability testing to refine and validate designs. What you have done 4 years' experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating consultative design work (not just execution). Skilled in leading conversations with business stakeholders while also being comfortable doing hands-on design. Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards. Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills. Desirable (but not essential): Experience designing enterprise dashboards, knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS), or motion design.
