We are seeking a skilled Inventory Manager to oversee the replenishment of goods and ensure that inventory supplies are maintained to support the needs of our business.
This hands-on position involves accurate receipt of stock, ensuring quality and quantity, and accurately recording transactions and movements across the business. You will regularly participate in stock counts and controls and use your knowledge to communicate fast- and slow-moving goods to support our Management Team.
As our Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for the purchase orders of our department and accurately check and enter invoices to ensure swift payment and delivery of goods and support good relationships with our suppliers. On a periodic basis or when required, you will also conduct cost analysis.
You will oversee our Inventory Management system and ensure the maintenance of its processes. To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in a similar and fast-paced role and experience with inventory management.
Other key skills and qualifications we are looking for include:
* Previous experience in purchasing, stock control, and stock management in a multi-outlet business.
* Proven experience using Inventory Management Systems (Fedelta is an advantage).
* The ability to work capably with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook and to design and complete reports is essential.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate successfully within an operational Team.
* Ability to contribute to and support the implementation of systems to improve stock control and achieve cost control targets.
* Good customer service skills and able to develop relationships with various stakeholders.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a flexible and cooperative 'can-do' attitude.
* Able to meet the physical requirements of the role, which will involve walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
* Prepared to work in an outdoor environment, in all weather conditions, in a role that requires substantial walking in a workplace that contains animals, including birds and reptiles.
