Steel Blast Australia is seeking an Experienced Painter to join our team full time in a full time position.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years work experience with Painting Structural Steel and Tank Refurbishments. Hold a valid C class license and be a Trade Qualified Painter.
This job involves working in a heavy industry environment and you will be asked to work in a wide variety of spaces, including in confined spaces and high up on scaffolding.
Tasks will include:
* Spray Painting, protective coatings to the required specification
* Surface preparation, including colours and colour mixing
* Conversant in the handling, mixing and application of various coating systems
* Working in a team or unsupervised when required
* Erecting and removing scaffolding
* Ensuring proper use and maintenance of company machinery and reports any error, misuse or damage to the equipment
* Cleaning equipment and work areas
* Observe Company's OHS Procedures & Policy
* Ability to pass a pre‐employment drug & alcohol screen
