Buffalo Built is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of domestic shed construction projects, from sale through to completion.
About the Role
This is a hands-on project delivery role responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing construction schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. You will conduct regular site visits, manage trade capacity, and work closely with sales to ensure accurate scoping and smooth project handover.
You’ll play a key role in keeping projects moving, identifying risks early, and ensuring all work aligns with agreed timelines, quality standards, and company KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of domestic shed construction projects
* Develop and maintain construction schedules and resource allocation
* Conduct site visits to assess conditions, constructability, and risk
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors, including installation and concrete trades
* Liaise with sales to ensure accurate project scoping and clear expectations
* Monitor project progress against timelines, KPIs, and quality standards
* Resolve issues quickly to maintain project momentum
* Ensure workplace health and safety compliance across all sites
About You
* Experience in project management within residential, domestic, or light commercial construction
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering plans
* Strong coordination skills managing multiple concurrent projects
* Confident communicator with trades, suppliers, and internal teams
* Strong understanding of site conditions and constructability
* Proactive problem solver with a delivery-focused mindset
Desirable Experience
* Exposure to Australian building standards and council approval processes
* Experience in high-volume or fast-turnover construction environments
* Trade background or building qualification
* Knowledge of subcontractor scheduling and trade performance management
* Basic understanding of cost control and project margins
