About Mas National
Mas National, part of the IntoWork Group, is a leading national provider of Employment, Skills and Support services. Our work helps people build confidence, overcome barriers, and move toward meaningful employment and education. Everything we do is driven by our vision of Vibrant Futures.
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Counsellor (or Allied Health Practitioner) to join our growing national Allied Health team, based in Rockhampton. You'll deliver one‑on‑one and group interventions, both face‑to‑face and via Telehealth, supporting participants engaged in employment and vocational programs.
The work is meaningful, varied and person‑centred—ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy within a supportive national network of Psychologists, Counsellors and Social Workers.
Why Rockhampton?
Rockhampton has become one of Queensland's most liveable regional cities—balancing lifestyle, opportunity, and affordability. If you're ready to escape the metro rush, this region offers:
* An affordable cost of living with space to breathe
* Short commutes and a slower, more enjoyable pace of life
* Friendly communities, great schools, and strong local culture
* Easy access to national parks, riverside walkways, hiking, and day trips to the Southern Great Barrier Reef
* Sunshine all year round—perfect for an active, outdoors lifestyle
It's a great move for anyone wanting meaningful work and a better quality of life.
What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver high‑quality allied health support: individual sessions, group interventions, and wellbeing programs
* Provide services via both face‑to‑face and Telehealth delivery
* Work collaboratively across employment service teams to identify participant needs
* Maintain accurate reporting, documentation and governance standards
* Connect individuals with local community and wellbeing supports
* Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision
About You
You're a compassionate professional who enjoys helping people build resilience and confidence. You'll thrive in this role if you're supportive, organised, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a tight‑knit national team.
You will need:
* Relevant degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation or Behavioural Science
* Registration with PACFA, ACA, AHPRA, AASW or appropriate professional body
* Experience delivering Allied Health or Mental Health supports
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Ability to work within a clinical governance framework
* Current police check, WWCC and open driver's licence
What We Offer
* Competitive salary package (commensurate with experience)
* Relocation assistance available
* Company vehicle with fuel card (personal use included)
* Hybrid working – mix of office, community and Telehealth
* Laptop, phone and all tools of trade
* Professional development, supervision and annual PD allowance
* Supportive culture within a national not‑for‑profit group
* Genuine career pathways within IntoWork's 23‑business network
