o AHP2 $91,785 - $106,330 p.a. (pro rata)
o AHP3 $108,347 - $116,216 p.a. (pro rata)

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking dedicated and compassionate Social Workers to join our dynamic, growing and supportive team. About the Role:
As a Social Worker within Medical Subspecialties, Oncology, you will provide comprehensive assessment, intervention and discharge planning for both inpatients and outpatients. Working across two NALHN public hospitals, acute medical wards, the Oncology Service and broader clinical areas, you will support patients, families and carers through complex health journeys. This role is required to work across both Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospital sites. The ability to work and communicate within and across clinical teams is essential.
* deliver coordinated, interdisciplinary social work services that optimise patient wellbeing and health outcomes
* rotate through a variety of clinical services, broadening your experience and clinical capability
* apply your professional expertise to plan, implement and evaluate integrated, person‐centred care
* provide guidance and support to less experienced Social Workers, allied health assistants and students
* collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary Allied Health team, and liaise with medical, nursing and community agencies to ensure seamless care
Appointment to the role will be at the AHP2 or AHP3 classification, dependent on the level of Tertiary Hospital and trained counselling experience. AHP3 level requires demonstrated 3 plus years working in a tertiary hospital and evidence of supervising staff and students.
Availability to work across a 7 day is required as weekend and public holiday work may be required to support flexible, high‐quality care delivery.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
