About the Role
As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll help lead the team and bring the Harris Scarfe experience to life – creating a warm, welcoming store environment and delivering on sales, service, and team culture.
Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager across all areas of the business
* Lead by example – setting high standards in service, safety, and presentation
* Train, coach, and support your team to build skills and confidence
* Oversee stock handling, merchandising, and compliance processes
* Support a collaborative and inclusive team cultureMake every customer interaction count – every day
What You’ll Bring
You’re a hands‑on leader with a passion for retail and a genuine love of people. With strong communication and great attention to detail, you know how to get the best from your team – and keep the customer at the heart of everything you do.
* Previous experience in leadership or supervisor roles with retail or hospitality
* A people‑first mindset with strong coaching and team‑building skills
* Great communication and a calm, solutions‑focused approach
* Confidence in visual merchandising and store presentation
* Organised and efficient, with strong admin and IT skills
* Full availability including weekends, and full working rights in Australia
