Chef Indian Cuisine
Taste of North India is a busy Indian restaurant serving delicious, wholesome food that has been passed down through generations.
We are currently seeking a full-time Chef for our busy restaurant located in Coffs Harbour.
Your duties will include:
* Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
* Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
* Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
* Preparing and cooking food
* Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
* Train staff
* Day to day kitchen operations
* Implementing multiple cooking procedures
In return you will receive:
· Package: $75000-$80000 per annum plus superannuation
· Position: Full time (38 hours a week)

Requirements of position:
· Minimum of a relevant Certificate 3 and 4 in commercial cookery and at least 2 years of relevant work experience or Two years of relevant work experience to substitute the formal qualification
· Strong communication skills
· Experience training Staff
· A real passion for preparing and cooking food
