THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a customer focused electrical engineer to join our successful Electronics Division. The role will be based on integrating engineered to order solutions which are designed to be fit for purpose, fully compliant and meet our customer's expectations with respect to functionality, safety, performance and reliability.
This opportunity is located at our Cameron Park office.
What You'll Do
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for:
Integrating engineered to order solutions across multiple industries.Providing specialist engineering with respect to hazardous area electronic design techniques, IS assessments, hardware selection and safety solutionsProvision of high-level project management and project engineering to high profile projects involving a suite of products relevant to mine wide gas systems, control and monitoring solutions, communication solutions battery charger systems, SCADA/PLC integration, VOIP and IP solutionsEnsuring the final product is of high quality and robust, suited for the environment for which it is designed while being manufactured to be cost effective and profitable.
What We're Looking For
Along with a strong service-oriented mindset and ability to manage competing deadlines, you will have:
Electrical trade qualificationsDegree or Diploma level qualifications in electrical or electronics engineeringDemonstrated experience in resolving problemsStrong interpersonal skills3 years + experience in the mining or manufacturing industryExperience with Australian and international standards, particularly with regards to intrinsic safety
