Job Description:
This Electrical and Instrumentation Technician position is part of an established maintenance crew responsible for maintaining fixed plant electrical and instrument equipment. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor and will be responsible for completing daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities to achieve the maintenance plan
* Ensure all electrical work is completed and recorded in line with statutory regulations and requirements
* Trouble shoot electrical components and control systems to determine causes of failures including gathering of failure evidence for further analysis
* Maintain a clean and safe work area
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a WA 'A' Grade Electrical licence, Cert IV Electrical Instrumentation & High Voltage switching ticket essential, as well as current WA Driver's licence and EWP ticket, CPR & LV Rescue. Strong communication and teamwork skills are also required.
