Description
As Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll services for the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing high-volume fortnightly payroll for employees within required time-frames.
Maintaining and updating employee records in the payroll system, ensuring compliance and audit trails.
Managing end-of-month payroll processing, reporting, and reconciliations.
Responding to payroll-related queries and providing high-quality customer service.
Administering payroll policies and procedures, including salary packaging arrangements.
Entering data for new starters, variations, and terminations.
Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of payroll records across systems.
Profile
Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
Strong understanding of payroll legislation, including PAYG, Superannuation, and Fair Work Act.
Proficiency in payroll systems (CHRIS21 experience highly desirable).
High attention to detail and ability to work within structured processes.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
