About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Intervention Therapist to join our team. As an Early Intervention Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapy services to support children and families in maximising their independence and participation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
* Provide information, education, and support to clients and families.
* Develop functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
* Provide evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
* Review progress and set new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.
* Support inclusion and participation in community activities.
* Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication and support.
* Foster continuous improvement through regular evaluation and review.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA.
* Passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families.
* Counselling skills with ability to provide knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
* Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable.
* Compliance with necessary checks and certifications including AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training, and possession of a Driver's License and Vehicle.
