About The Role
As a Senior Strategy Manager, Pacific, you'll help develop and execute strategic direction for the Pacific business in order to drive growth in our businesses. If you have a passion for strategic planning, market analysis, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth, this role is for you!
Reporting into the Strategy Director, APAC, this is a permanent role based in Sydney, with a hybrid work model that supports flexibility. A 4-day work week may be considered for the right candidate. Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Strategy Manager, Pacific
Responsibilities
* Lead strategy planning across Australia and New Zealand, collaborating with functional leads
* Partner with internal teams to assess commercial challenges and identify growth levers
* Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to inform decisions
* Prepare and present business cases for strategic investments and product opportunities
* Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Technology teams to align strategic priorities
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements for the Pacific region
* Contribute to M&A evaluations, partnership development, and post-deal strategy execution
Requirements
* A degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field (MBA desirable)
* 5+ years’ experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or 2+ years’ post-MBA strategic roles
* Proven analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to turn insight into impact
* Strong project management skills and confidence navigating ambiguity
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
* Familiarity with the ANZ legal or professional services market (preferred)
* M&A or partnership exposure (desirable)
