Commercial Kitchen Chef
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Chef to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of international hot and cold meals in commercial quantities.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher, with strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
You will be required to follow strict food safety and quality control procedures, as well as work collaboratively with other chefs and support staff to ensure seamless meal production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook hot and cold meals for business and economy class passengers;
* Manage stock control and minimize food waste;
* Clean and maintain a hygienic work environment;
* FOLLOW menu specifications and adhere to Food Safety/HACCP/ QA/WHS guidelines;
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Commercial Cookery or higher;
* Strong passion for delivering high-quality cuisine;
* Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster;
* Excellent communication and organizational skills;
* Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred but not essential;
