Duff & Macintosh isn’t just another industrial supplier, it’s a long-established, specialist business that has built its reputation over decades by doing things properly. They operate in the water analysis / instrumentation space, supplying critical equipment used in: Power stations Water treatment plants Industrial processing environments What makes them different: They represent a premium Swiss manufacturer (Swan), known globally for accuracy and reliability They don’t compete on price, they compete on performance, longevity, and trust Some of their equipment has been in operation for 50–80 years They have deep, long-standing relationships across infrastructure and government sectors This is a business where: Clients don’t churn quickly Relationships matter Reputation is everything Where the growth is coming from? Historically, they’ve dominated the power station market. Now they’re expanding into: Municipal water (councils) Water treatment plants Industrial water users (mining, food, pharma, etc.) And this is the key: Most of this market is still untapped Queensland alone has: ~77 councils Only a small portion currently using their product This is not a transactional sales role. This is a technical, relationship-led role where you’ll own Queensland and build a market properly over time. You’ll be joining a long-established industrial business with a premium product already dominant in the power sector and now expanding into water, councils, and industrial markets. Most of the territory is still untapped, this is a genuine growth role. The Role Focused on new business and revenue growth Selling into councils, water treatment plants, and industrial sites Managing long sales cycles (trials, tenders, technical validation) Working with engineers, plant managers, and operators Building and owning the QLD territory What You Need Background in technical / industrial B2B sales Experience in water, utilities, mining, manufacturing, or similar Comfortable with long, consultative sales cycles Ability to engage in technical conversations (not just surface-level selling) What’s On Offer $120K base super Company vehicle / car allowance Uncapped commission Strong onboarding technical support Long-term, stable opportunity
