Accounts Receivable Officer - Dynamic role, immediate start

With campuses in Geelong City, East Geelong, Werribee, and Hoppers Crossing, it caters to more than
13,500 students annually.

**Your new role**

This exciting and dynamic role is not your usual Accounts Receivable role.

It requires logical and investigative thinking and an ability to problem solve.

Dealing with both student, sponsor and commercial debt, your strong customer service skills will be utilised for debtor management and follow up.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable functions.
- High level computer literacy.
- High level of communication skills, both written and oral, particularly in relation to liaising with different customer types to provide exceptional customer service.
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills with the capacity to meet tight deadlines, competing demands and be flexible with work arrangements.
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills as well as the ability to show initiative, follow policies and procedures and contribute to system improvements.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of goods and services tax and other related regulatory compliance matters.
- To work collaboratively and harmoniously as part of a professional team and as a self-motivated person without close supervision.
- Certificate IV in Business (Administration), and/or demonstrated competence through experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
- Demonstrated expertise and experience using a large scale software package for management and reconciliation of sub-ledger accounts and the general ledger system.
- A valid Working with Children Check.
- National Police Check.
- Australian Citizenship, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
