We are seeking a Geotechnical Specialist to join our technical services team.
This role will involve conducting thorough underground and surface inspections to address geotechnical hazards. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing geotechnical hazard reporting systems, collecting and analyzing data from instrumentation and monitoring systems, and offering expert geotechnical advice to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.
To succeed in this role, you will need qualifications in Geotechnical Engineering with practical expertise in rock mechanics, tunnelling or mining engineering. Proficient use of seismic monitoring systems, numerical modelling software (Map3D & Phase2) and geotechnical software (Rocscience RS2/RS3, Dips, Unwedge) is desirable.
