The Role
Our Project Delivery Group is a collective force, combining expertise in construction, commercial, engineering, project management, studies, and rail. We create and deliver projects that optimise safety, efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity for CBH's supply chain infrastructure.
We are looking to fill two positions for experienced Contracts Administrator & Senior Contracts Administrator to support the Project Delivery Group (PDG).
You will be working on multiple projects across the PDG rail portfolio requiring design, technical support, and governance.
Responsibilities include:
Providing timely insights and feedback to internal customers and stakeholders regarding project costs
Manage contracts, including drafting, negotiating terms, and reporting
Administering Pre-Award, Tendering, Execution and Post-Award including processing variations, extension of time, payment claims and other claim management responsibilities.
Providing a level of guidance and advice to relevant stakeholders, internal and external as well other team members
About You:
Demonstrated experience in administering multiple project contracts, encompassing construction, design, and supply contracts
Proven contracting experience in a project environment, client side preferable
Understanding of contract law and general law
In-depth knowledge of contract types and experience in drafting and managing significant (>$10M) construction contracts
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills
A degree qualification in project management, commerce, law, engineering, or equivalent; or relevant industry experience
* Two (2) + years or more experience in contract administration
Senior:
* Five (5) + years or more experience in contract administration
Beneficial experience:
Experience developing and managing project contracting plans
Familiarity with contracting processes, SAP, and Ariba
