Job Description

We plan, design, and deliver complex infrastructure across rail, roads, bridges, stations and multi-modal networks.
With a strong and growing pipeline of transport infrastructure throughout Australia and New Zealand, we are expanding our Design Management capability across the region.
Join AECOM's industry-leading Transport business and contribute to complex and city-shaping programs.
Our teams deliver across four core sectors: Bridges, Structures and Ports; Highways; Transport Planning and Aviation; Rail and Transit.
How you'll make a difference
Lead the design delivery of complex transport infrastructure projects from concept to IFC.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage interfaces across rail, road, bridges and structures.
Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders and provide clear communication on progress and risks.
Champion design governance, safety in design, compliance and digital engineering standards.
Manage project scope, timeframes, budgets and quality outcomes.
Mentor and grow our next generation of engineers and technical specialists.
Qualifications
Background in Engineering with experience in rail, road or major transport infrastructure design delivery.
Tertiary engineering qualifications (CPEng or working towards highly regarded).
Strong understanding of design processes, risk management and technical assurance.
Skilled in preparing design deliverables and leading quality reviews.
Confident communicator who builds strong relationships and enjoys collaboration.
A proactive problem solver with a positive approach to challenges and change.
