About the Role
Provide consistent, high‑quality general and deep cleans to the Sydney and NSW Customer Experience Centres and Stabling Yards. You will play a key part in ensuring Sydney Trains delivers on its strategic objective of improving customer satisfaction and the cleanliness of its services. Our current vacancies place you in locations throughout Sydney, Illawarra and the Wollongong Region.
The Fleet Customer Experience Cleaning Attendant team is located at 39 sites and includes:
- Maintenance & Stabling Yard Cleaners – full‑time, 24‑hour rotating rosters (primarily night work), conducting cleaning of trains back at the Maintenance Yards.
- Turnaround Cleaners – primarily part‑time, day and afternoon shifts based at stations.
Successful applicants will undergo a paid, on‑the‑job induction and training programme at commencement to fully prepare you in how to undertake your role.
Responsibilities
• Provide consistent, high‑quality general and deep cleans.
• Maintain cleanliness of Customer Experience Centres, Stabling Yards and associated areas.
• Work within a rotating roster that may include early mornings, late nights, evenings and weekends.
• Comply with all safety and cleanliness standards set by Sydney Trains and Transport for NSW.
About You
• Self‑motivated and committed to ensuring a high standard of cleanliness in everyday duties.
• Dedicated to customer service and safety conscious.
• Willing and able to commit to 24‑hour, 7‑day rotating rosters; schedules may include early mornings, late nights, evenings and weekends.
• Aiming for both full‑time and part‑time opportunities where required.
• Textbook reading of the Cleaning Attendant Information Pack and clear understanding of your role is required before applying.
