Mental Health and Chronic Pain Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health and Chronic Pain Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team.

About the Role
\
\
* Provide mental health and chronic pain nursing care to guests in our healing centre
\
* Assess and treat mental health issues, administer medication, and provide community resources
\
* Triage acute concerns and provide anticipatory guidance as needed
\
* Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans for all consultations
\
* Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
\
* Administer ketamine treatments (training provided) and order, store, and log Schedule I Controlled Drugs
\
* Uphold HIA laws, maintain guest files, and ensure confidentiality
\
* Participate in ongoing training and continuing education initiatives
\
* Contribute to company projects during clinic downtime
\
* Support the onboarding of new team members
\
\
Requirements
\
\
* NP Certification and License in good standing
\
* Active registration and practice permit with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives
\
* Current BCLS-HCP and ACLS certification
\
* Clinical experience in a semi-independent practice role in mental health and chronic pain care
\
* Strong knowledge of current guidelines, standards of practice, and medical directives
\
* Administrative and computer skills (EMR, Microsoft Office, and Google Workplace)
\
* Guest-centred and trauma-informed approach to care
\
* PASSION for learning and adapting to evolving processes
\
* Comfortable working in new environments and adaptable to changing situations
