The Opportunity:
This newly created opportunity will see you responsible for the development and delivery of the commercial elements of cleaning solutions for tenders, proposals, expressions of interest, and presentations, and for pricing diverse and substantial tenders and bids in the commercial cleaning sector.
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for:
* Ensuring all allocated submissions are completed promptly and to the required professional standards that meet customers' requirements.
* Pricing of cleaning services (self-delivered or subcontracted)
* Identifying and computing the cost of labour, materials and time requirements for work
* Maintaining a cost database to help with the bidding process
* Review drafts for any deeds of engagement, Tender Specifications, and other relevant tender documents to assist in developing finalised pricing solutions.
* Report on forecast margins, contingencies, expenses and other financial deliverables
* Attending site visits to understand the scope of work to assist in pricing
* The preparation of special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends
* Stakeholder management and reporting, including formalised presentation of tenders to the company CEO and Growth and Strategy.
* The estimator will focus on achieving personal targets for each FY and on supporting the entire Sales & Marketing team in achieving departmental targets.

Your background:
This opportunity could suit a dynamic, forward-thinking Estimator with experience in facilities services estimating. You will have excellent attention to detail and strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand financial modelling, pricing tools, and benchmarks. Strong IT skills, including a proficiency in AI would be highly regarded. You are someone with relevant tertiary education (finance or commerce)
