As a Lecturer in Global Creative Industries, you'll play a vital role in shaping the next generation of arts and creative industry professionals. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a rigorous, vocationally-oriented Master's program, engage in innovative research, and collaborate with a diverse team of experts. Your expertise in arts management, cultural policy, or global creative industries will directly influence curriculum development and research initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead Innovative Teaching: Coordinate subjects, design curriculum, and develop technology-based learning resources for postgraduate students.
* Conduct Impactful Research: Publish high-quality outputs, secure research grants, and supervise postgraduate research projects.
* Drive Program Development: Contribute to curriculum innovation, including cross-disciplinary approaches and overseas subject design.
* Engage in Leadership and Service: Participate actively in committees, build partnerships, and contribute to the discipline's development.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a passionate academic with a PhD in arts and cultural management or a related field, demonstrating excellence in teaching and research, with a particular focus on globalised creative industries and culturally diverse contexts.
You may also:
* Have a strong publication record in arts management, cultural policy, or creative industries.
* Possess experience in curriculum development and course coordination at the postgraduate level.
* Demonstrate the ability to secure research grants and engage in collaborative, multidisciplinary research.
* Have expertise in non-Western and/or culturally diverse creative industry contexts.
* Show a commitment to professional development and collegial behaviour.
