The Role
Our client is seeking a Lab & Service Technician to join their team based in Bomaderry, NSW. This is a casual, full-time ongoing position with a long-term opportunity offering hands-on work in industrial water treatment and site services.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain chemical stock levels on-site for cooling and boiler water systems.
* Perform inventory stocktakes and manage empty drum removal.
* Collect and test water samples, record results, and enter data into systems.
* Inspect and calibrate chemical dosing and monitoring equipment; perform minor repairs.
* Collect and dispatch biological samples and corrosion coupons.
* Report leaks, faults, and unusual events promptly.
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated safe work practices and hazard awareness.
* Knowledge of or willingness to learn basic water chemistry.
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor maintenance.
* Good communication skills and computer literacy.
* Current driver's licence (mandatory).
* Trade certificate or degree in chemistry/science highly regarded.
* Forklift ticket advantageous.
