We are built on a passion for retail, dedication and a commitment to making our customers experience more enjoyable every time.Bakers Delight Jerrabomberra is seeking motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Baker to join the Bakery.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight.
Training will be provided for BDH recipe.Inspect equipment and premises before production to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.Evaluate raw materials and weigh ingredients to maintain quality standards.Mix, knead, mature, cut, mould, and shape dough and pastry goods.Prepare pastry fillings for various baked products.Operate machines for rolling, moulding dough, and cutting biscuits.Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine optimal baking times.Coordinate the forming, baking, cooling, and de-panning of bread, rolls, and pastry batches.Glaze buns and pastries and decorate cakes with icing or cream.Clean, grease, and empty baking trays, tins, and equipment after use.QualificationsAbility to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 4am)Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff.Portray a positive attitudeComplete duties as directed by your manager/supervisorAbide by company policies and procedures at all timesTrain, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery DepartmentApplicants with Minimum of 1 years' experience or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have advantage for this role.
