Your files will include complex and sometimes, high-profile, disputes for clients such as Australian insurers, institutions and government bodies. Duties In this role, you will:- Work alongside and have the support and guidance of a Principal and Senior Lawyers Provide technically and strategically sound advice (written and verbal) that takes commercial considerations into account Be heavily involved in all aspects of matters, ensuring your substantive contribution to matter outcomes Prepare court and other legal documents with precision Enjoy the support, guidance and mentoring from senior practitioners to further develop your advocacy skills, strategic-advice work and practice management skills Skills & experience The ideal candidate will have:- 3-5 years' PAE in insurance litigation (ideally general liability) Genuine interest in public liability litigation Excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to work collaboratively with others Efficient, organised and diligent approach to your work Strong drive and motivation to develop your career Excellent legal drafting, research and analytical skills Commercial acumen, problem-solving skills and initiative About our client Our client is a highly respected and forward-thinking firm with industry recognised practitioners and a reputation for providing exceptional legal advice that is both strategic and practical.
