BethanieHome Care offer a variety of services to ageing Australians,allowing them to live independently in their own homes throughoutPerth, Geraldton and in the South West.
We providesupport with day-to-day living including domestic assistance andgardening services, as well as respite services and socialsupport.
Weare currently seeking a Unqualified Support Worker to provideservices in the Geraldton area.
To besuccessful in this role, you must be available to committo:
* Permanent part timeemployment, working a minimum of 20 hours per week
* Beingavailable between the hours of 08:00am – 16:00 Monday toFriday.
As you willbe required to use your own car in this role, we offer a travelallowance per kilometre.
AboutYou
* Previous experienceworking in an aged care or community care environment will bedesirable
* Willingness to obtainrelevant vaccinations
* Hold acurrent driver's licence and have access to a reliablevehicle
* Current NationalPolice Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
TheRole
* Professionally delivera variety of services including food preparation, cleaning andlaundry services, as well as supporting hobbies, interests andleisure activities.
* Ensureall living areas of clients' homes are kept clean, tidy andsafe from hazards.
* Support clients withtransport to appointments.
* Provide social supportto clients by spending time doing the things theylove.
* Prioritise a personalconnection with clients, ensuring respect and compassion isshown at all time
