**The Company**
Our client is an Australian owned, family run, packaging business in Melbourne's South-Eastern suburbs. Offering specialist services and solutions, they work with customers in the beauty and personal care, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and FMCG industries. They are a niche, friendly, down to earth and hard-working team in need of a like-minded Bookkeeper/Finance Assistant who can help them through a busy transition period as they implement a new ERP system. While this is a Temporary role for 2-3 months initially, there is also very real potential to become permanent for the right person.
**The Role**
An experienced Bookkeeper with sound MYOB skills, you will assist with the day-to
- day finance functions of a small business, including payroll and related lodgements, accounts payable and receivable, credit control, reconciliations and report preparation etc. This is a stand-alone role, so experience and sound knowledge of MYOB will be essential.
- Process weekly payroll
- Process, pay and reconcile supplier invoices
- Prepare customer invoices
- Reconcile debtors accounts, distributing statements and following up on outstanding receivables
- Reconcile credit card expenses
- ATO lodgements including PAYG and quarterly BAS
- Superannuation payments
- Assistance with weekly and monthly reporting
**Skills and Experience**
We're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with a strong working knowledge of MYOB, who can confidently jump in, roll up their sleeves and help keep things on track. While not essential, experience with Priority or a similar ERP system would be highly advantageous.
