The Extend Group is seeking exceptional Educational Managers to lead a small but expanding cluster of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services in South Australia.
Role: This new opportunity is for an experienced Area Manager, focusing on people and business management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong emotional intelligence, a proactive attitude, and a solution-oriented approach.
Responsibilities include conducting daily visits to centres, providing regular educator training, and leading middle management initiatives.
This position reports to the National Programs Manager, is based in Adelaide, and involves monthly travel to Melbourne for meetings, training, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and train OSHC teams within your cluster.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with educators, school staff, parents, authorities, and suppliers.
Oversee service management, including staffing, program development, and business operations.
Support educators during Assessment and Rating reviews.

Criteria: Previous people management experience in childcare is highly advantageous.
Experience managing remote teams or in area management is preferred.
Ability to build and sustain excellent relationships internally and externally.
Proven success in management with measurable results.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Current SA Working with Children's Check, First Aid HLTAID012, and Child Protection Training, or willingness to obtain.
Valid driver's license, own vehicle (travel allowance provided).
Diploma or higher in Child Care, Education, Community Services, or equivalent qualification.
