About the Role
We are seeking several experienced Electricians to support current and upcoming shutdown, maintenance and project works across Australia's largest mine sites. In this casual FIFO role, you'll access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established national contractor.
You'll be hands-on across a wide range of electrical, instrumentation and control system activities supporting large-scale mining operations. As an Electrician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Reading and working from diagrams, drawings and specifications
* Fault finding and electrical repairs
* Installing electrical and electronic systems and insulated cabling
* Replacing and assembling electrical and electronic components and equipment
* Splicing and terminating electrical conductors
* Installing conduits, cable ladders and other cable support systems
What You'll Need
We're looking for WA Electrical Licence holders who thrive in a fast-paced shutdown and maintenance environment. Mining experience is highly regarded, however electricians from aligned industries are encouraged to apply. You will bring:
Essential
* WA Electrical Licence
* Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
* CPR / LVR (within 12 months)
* First Aid (within 2 years)
* Construction White Card
* Australian Driver's Licence
* Strong commitment to safety, quality and permit-to-work procedures
Highly Desirable
* Previous mining experience
* Client inductions (Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP, etc.)
* Instrumentation experience
* HV Switching
* PLC logic exposureHazardous Areas
* Open Cablers (communications)
