We've got the rocks covered but we're looking for one more incredible person to join the team based at our Tritton Operation as a Charge Up Operator (Underground).
The Nitty Gritty
As an experienced Charge Up Operator, you will manage explosives in line with statutory requirements, charge development faces and production slopes, and work closely with Jumbo operators on day-to-day development. From assisting with charge design to jumping into a range of mining tasks, no two days are the same. A sharp eye for hazards, commitment to safety, and strict adherence to company procedures are essential to succeed.
What You Bring
* Blasting Explosives User License and Unsupervised Handling License under the NSW Explosives Act (essential)
* Demonstrates competence in safe and efficient charging and firing of development headings and production slopes.
* Demonstrates knowledge of statutory and safe work procedures for the handling, storage and management of explosives.
* Good all round work performance and positive attitude to HSE and the care of equipment.
* Competent in peripheral tasks (basic road maintenance, services) and service checks, maintenance on equipment.

Company Overview
Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and serves as the cornerstone of our copper production. The mine is transitioning to a 'hub-and-spoke' model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
