Central Coast Day Hospital, established in 2010, is a state-of-the-art facility specialising in providing a full range of eye surgery procedures including cataract, laser, vitreo-retinal, as well as cosmetic and plastic eye surgery.
We are seeking Registered Nurses with experience in anaesthetics to join us on a part-time basis (2 days per week) in our day ward, with a willingness to learn in other areas.
To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:
* 3 years post-graduate experience with at least 1-year clinical experience essential in anaesthetics.
* Knowledge in the field of high-tech medical equipment; specifically, Anaesthetic machine – care, maintenance, and problem solving.
* Exceptional clinical skills.
* Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations.
* Understanding of the principles of Infection Control, essential.
* Evidence of ongoing Professional Development.
* Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices.
* The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
* High level of written and verbal communication skills.
* An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care.
