Job Title: Finance Director
About the Role:
This is a high-level finance leadership role that involves managing and developing a sizable finance team/function. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, either in a chartered accounting or similar head office accounting environment. They will also have excellent interpersonal and inclusive/collaborative leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
* Leading, managing and developing a finance team/function;
* Developing management reporting to support stakeholders across the business;
* Ensuring statutory, tax and financial reporting obligations are met within legislative timeframes;
* Establishing and maintaining effective accounting and reporting systems, procedures and controls;
* Implementing new accounting-based systems;
* Leading interactions with auditors during key reporting periods;
* Contacting the ATO relating to corporate income tax, indirect tax and other related tax issues;
* Managing the Treasury function.
Key Requirements:
* Strong technical accounting training, either in a chartered accounting or similar head office accounting environment;
* Excellent interpersonal and inclusive/collaborative leadership skills;
* A natural team player who is seeking a values-based corporate culture.
About You:
You will be a highly driven and forward-looking finance leader with strong technical accounting skills. You will have experience of working in a large ASX listed, PE or multinational corporate environment and will be comfortable working at a senior level. You will be a natural team player with excellent interpersonal and inclusive/collaborative leadership skills.
