Basford Brands are wholesale distributor of window furnishings throughout Australia and New Zealand. We employ approximately 70 staff from our Breakwater headquarters.
A great opportunity now exists for Casual Textile Cutters and operators to join our growing team:
* Immediate start.
* Day and Afternoon Shifts available
* Day Shift 7am to 3.06pm Monday to Friday
* Afternoon shift 2.30pm to 12.30am Monday to Thursday
* Plus, Shift allowance for afternoon shift
* Overtime available when required.
* Work life balance work local in Geelong.
* Future Full-time employment available.
To apply for this role applicants would have the following:
* Ideally Experience in machine or factory operations.
* Whilst experience would be highly regarded, full training will be provided to those without.
* Good physical fitness essential (Manual Handling) as some items are heavy must be able to lift to 30KG.
* Able to follow SWP and safety procedures.
* Good attitude to safety and Housekeeping
* Attention to detail is a MUST.
* Working knowledge of a computer and basic MS Excel skills.
* Working in a small team environment with a safety awareness and attention to detail completing tasks will have you well prepared for this ongoing opportunity.
* Valid work visa or Australian work rights required.
