The Role
Managers play a vital role in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant. They are responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, efficient operations, and the overall success of the restaurant. Managers lead a team of employees, set performance expectations, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Build People Capability
* Assists in recruiting and developing high quality team members to deliver great customer experiences.
* Provides coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their performance and development.
* Helps to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and morale.
Deliver a Consistent Customer Experience
* Ensures a safe working and customer environment by facilitating safe work behaviours of the team.
* Assists the Restaurant Manager in the day‑to‑day operations by scheduling labour and ordering food and supplies, to successfully fulfil the needs of a multi‑million‑dollar restaurant.
* Ensures local health and safety legislation, and company safety and security policies are met.
* Interacts with customers to provide exceptional service and address their concerns.
* Supports the team in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
* Contributes to strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic restaurant.
* Monitors food quality and presentation to uphold the brand's high standards.
Grow the Brand, Sales and Profits
* Assists in tracking sales, expenses and financial performance against targets.
* Assists in ensuring maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through the use of a Preventative Maintenance Plan based on Company Standards.
* Supports the Restaurant Manager in ensuring facilities and equipment are maintained to brand standards; coordinates facility upgrades or equipment replacement.
Desired Qualifications
* Previous experience in supervisory or management role within the quick service industry is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Knowledge of food safety legislation.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
