Due to continued growth across the technology landscape, an opportunity exists for an experienced APS6 Test Analyst Team Lead to support quality assurance capability across a complex ICT environment.
The Opportunity You will oversee testing governance and quality assurance activities while supporting continuous improvement across testing practices, frameworks and delivery standards.
The role will work closely with technical teams, delivery stakeholders and governance functions to ensure testing activities align with industry best practice and organisational standards.
Alongside leadership responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to lead testing capability within a large enterprise ICT environment while working across complex and business-critical systems.

The Role As the APS6 Test Analyst Team Lead, you will be:
Leading and overseeing quality assurance activities across project and operational support teams
Reviewing and improving testing artefacts including test strategies, test plans, test cases and test reports
Ensuring that testing activities align with governance frameworks and delivery standards
Chairing and managing testing community of practice meetings
Supporting recruitment and mentoring activities across testing functions
Performing hands‑on Senior Test Analyst duties within delivery and sustainment teams
Supporting test automation uplift initiatives and continuous improvement activities
Contributing to data migration risk management and deployment confidence activities
Working closely with change and release processes within the Software Development Life Cycle
Engaging with business, operational and technical stakeholders across the organisation
The Ideal Person Successful applicants will bring:
Strong experience as a Senior Test Analyst within enterprise ICT environments
Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring testing teams
Experience developing and reviewing testing artefacts across project delivery environments
Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and governance practices
Familiarity with change and release management within the Software Development Life Cycle
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within testing functions
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Word and Excel
It’s also desirable for you to possess:
ISTQB Certification
Previous Test Lead or Team Lead experience
Exposure to test automation initiatives
Experience supporting data migration and large deployment activities
Experience working within Federal Government or highly regulated environments
NV2 Security Clearance highly regarded
