Overview
We are looking for a talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join our client, a local Council in Sydney, for a 5-month contract.
The Opportunity
In this exciting contract role, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and impactful visual communication materials. You'll work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to develop designs that meet specific project needs and objectives.
Responsibilities
* Develop creative concepts and graphic design solutions for a variety of print and digital communication materials.
* Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
* Produce high-quality design work using industry-standard software (Adobe CS, Pre-press).
* Manage your workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Work independently and as part of a team to deliver successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
* A relevant design qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Design, Diploma of Graphic Design).
* Minimum 2 years\' experience in a similar graphic design role.
* A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
* The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
* Local Government experience is preferred
