We are looking for an individual with an outstanding phone manner, quick learning abilities, and competency in computer operations. Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring excellent service over the phone and through digital communication channels. Address customer orders, concerns and queries with efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism. Coordinate and communicate with various departments to resolve customer enquiries promptly. Assist customers with billing inquiries, account management, and other service-related issues. Continuously update customer information in our database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service delivery and personal skillset. Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for customers from all backgrounds. Qualifications Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the utilities or similar industry. Exceptional phone manner and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes. Proficiency in computer applications and customer management software. A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to support and help others. Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. Day-to-Day Start your day by reviewing the customer service dashboard to prioritise and manage incoming inquiries. Answer calls and respond to emails with a focus on empathy, clarity, and resolution. Engage in active listening to understand and address customer needs and concerns effectively. Document customer interactions meticulously to ensure seamless follow-up if needed. Collaborate with team members to share insights and strategies for improving customer experiences. Take initiative to suggest and participate in process improvements to enhance service delivery.
