The Position:
As a Sales Engineer, you will lead and support sales initiatives from concept to completion across NSW and QLD. This hands on role focuses on selling consumables and small machines while managing the end to end sales process and territory budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and managing your territory sales budget, monitoring progress against established targets to achieve sales success.
* Preparing accurate quotes and costings in Excel for small machinery and consumables.
* Arranging and conducting machine demonstrations for prospective clients.
* Coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure all project and customer requirements are fulfilled seamlessly.
About You:
You are a well organised sales professional with excellent time management skills and a confident communication style. You thrive in a small team environment and maintain high standards of customer service when dealing with both customers and suppliers.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in the sales of consumables and small machinery.
* Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office, particularly with a good knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, along with familiarity using CRM systems.
* Effective communication skills in English and the ability to manage multiple priorities with sharp attention to detail.
* A qualification in Business, Science, Commerce, or Engineering (wishing to transition into sales) is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of flexible packaging materials, including sustainable materials, or previous sales experience within the coding and labelling industry will be highly regarded.
