The Role
General Manager Assurance leads a team of professionals that delivers end-to-end assurance services across three Branches – Security Vetting, Protective Security and Psychological Services – which are tasked to protect the integrity of Australia's people, systems, infrastructure and critical assets.
Responsible to the CEO for one of Omni's largest and most demanding business units, General Manager Assurance leads long-term Divisional business planning, generates additional business opportunities through exceptional client engagement and ensures divisional compliance with industry best practice, the Defence Industry Security Program, the Protective Security Policy Framework, the Australian Privacy Principles, and client and Omni policies.

* Experience working in National Intelligence Community, Protective Security or demanding Australian Government roles, combined with a sound degree of commercial acumen.
* The ability to lead, mentor and guide a large, dynamic and nationally based team of professionals working across multiple specialist disciplines.
* A strong commitment to upholding Omni's values and ethical standards and contributing to national security efforts.
Essential Requirements
The below key requirements are essential for this role:
* Be an Australian Citizen
* Hold a minimum NV2 current Australian Government Security Clearance.
* Have excellent communication, negotiation, people management and relationship building skills.
In addition, this role will require:
* A Bachelor's degree or Post Graduate qualification in Business, Government or a relevant field.
* A graduate of an Australian Institute of Company Director's Course or be able to complete the training
* Demonstrated experience in senior-level National Intelligence Community, Protective Security or Government roles.
* Previous experience in financial planning and stewardship of a multimillion-dollar budget.
