Role Overview
The role of Youth Therapeutic Support Worker involves providing caring and mentoring support to children and young people who have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse, and/or neglect.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily routines and personal care for the individuals in care.
* Supervise homework and recreational activities, as well as administer medication as required.
* Support the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment within the home.
Requirements:
In order to be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
* A current Working with Children Check (QLDS).
* A current NDIS Worker Check.
* Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (QLDS).
* A current CPR certificate.
* A current First Aid Certificate.
* A National Police Check.
* A current driver's license.
