Are you a strategic leader with strong commercial acumen and a passion for driving results?
Jaybro Group is looking for a Business Manager to lead our team, grow the business, and deliver exceptional customer value at our new Geelong Branch!
As Business Manager, you'll take full ownership of operations at the new Geelong branch – leading sales, operations, and team performance.
You'll drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and champion a culture of safety, service, and success.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with key customers, build high-performing teams, and deliver operational excellence from order to delivery.Commercial Performance & Growth Own the branch P&L; and drive profitable growth across all customer segments and product categoriesDevelop and execute a clear commercial plan to grow revenue, expand market share, and protect marginAnalyse performance trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunitiesManage pricing strategy, cost control, and sales mix to maximise EBITDASales & Customer Growth Own the state P&L; and deliver on revenue and margin targetsLead a customer-first sales culture focused on solution sellingBuild and manage strong relationships with major contractors and project partnersOperational Excellence Ensure effective warehouse, logistics, and inventory operationsDrive improvements in delivery performance, service levels, and cost efficiencyWork with supply chain teams to manage stock availability and demandSafety, Quality & Compliance Lead by example in safety and complianceMaintain and improve safety culture and HSEQ standards across sitesTeam Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, commercially minded teamEmbed a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer serviceManage rosters, budgets, and team development using Jaybro Group's people frameworksFinancial Management Manage budgets, reporting, and cost controlIdentify and act on opportunities to improve profitabilityQualifications Proven leadership experience in a commercial, operational, or sales-focused roleStrong business acumen with experience managing P&L; and driving growthExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsA safety-first mindset and passion for team developmentExperience in construction, manufacturing, supply chain, or related industries (preferred)If you'd like to join a winning team and a company with a fantastic culture and plenty of room for growth and development, please apply now.As part of Jaybro Group's recruitment process an online assessment & criminal history check will be required.Jaybro Group is an equal opportunity employer.
