It's exciting times in the SportsPower team as there is vacancy to fill; Product Manager Equipment & Fitness reporting to the Head of Product & Brand - SportsPower.
The purpose of the SportsPower Product Team is to lead the product ranging for major global and local sports brands and develop sell-out initiatives.
About the role
The purpose of this role will be to work closely within the SportsPower Team and oversee all Equipment and Fitness ranging.
You'll also work closely with our members, member product committees, supplier partners and eCommerce team.
Key responsibilities include
Build a category-based product strategy of good/better/best assortments across the Equipment and Fitness categories aligned to key suppliers.
With member product committees, build seasonal "Web range" products and select promotional lines.
Collaborate with eCommerce Team to deliver web range on time and in full.
Identify new product and supplier opportunities.
Use sales data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to all key stakeholders.
Assist in the coordination of product data.
Support the development and delivery of the SportsPower marketing calendar.
Develop a mutually beneficial partnership with suppliers.
Skills and experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position in a retail or wholesale business.
High attention to detail.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage time to meet objectives and deadlines.
