About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Leading Hand to join our team at our Yatala facility.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be hands-on in supervising daily operations, leading teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained, and helping drive efficiency across our production site.
This role is ideal for a proactive team leader ready to advance their career in precast manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, support, and motivate the production team to achieve daily targets and maintain high standards.
Assist in coordinating daily production schedules and workflows.
Monitor and manage material requirements and preparation.
Oversee plant operations, including the use of plant equipment, forklifts, and loading.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance.
Ensure all safety procedures and quality standards are consistently met.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and report on progress to management.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in manufacturing or construction, preferably in precast or concrete environments.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work hands-on and lead by example.
Physically fit and reliable with a proactive attitude.
Committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
