About the Organisation and RoleWe're Well Life Services, a values-driven organisation delivering Allied Health, Youth Residential, Support Coordination, Lifestyle Support, and Out of Home Care services across South East Queensland.
We're seeking Youth Workers to provide direct care and support to young people in residential settings, implement care plans and therapeutic programs, support community access and everyday learning opportunities, promote safety and resilience, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate documentation in line with relevant legislation and standards.About the RoleAs a Youth Worker, you'll play a vital role in:Providing direct care and support to young people in residential settingsImplementing care plans and therapeutic programs tailored to individual needsSupporting community access, recreational activities, and everyday learning opportunitiesPromoting safety, resilience, and positive behavioural modellingCollaborating with families, caseworkers, and multidisciplinary teamsMaintaining accurate documentation and adhering to relevant legislation and standardsWhat We OfferCasual and permanent part-time positionsConsistent rosters with sleepover shiftsInternal training and career development opportunitiesSupportive team culture and on-call assistanceAccess to EAP and QLeave long service leaveA chance to make a meaningful difference in a young person's lifeAbout YouYou're someone who:Has experience working with young people with complex behaviours and traumaDemonstrates empathy, patience, and emotional resilienceIs confident working independently and collaborativelyCommunicates effectively and professionallyIs passionate about achieving positive outcomes for youthIs adaptable and able to think on your feet in challenging situationsRequirementsCertificate IV or higher in Youth Work, Child & Family Intervention, Community Services, or similarWorking with Children Check (Blue Card – Paid)NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card – Paid)Current QLD Driver's Licence (Green P accepted with approval)Comprehensive car insurance and registrationCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationCompletion or willingness to complete:Hope and Healing trainingTherapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)Etrainu modulesOther relevant learning as requiredHow to ApplyIf you\'re ready to make a difference and meet the above criteria, we'd love to hear from you!
