About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with managing daily service operations and workflow in the workshop. You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the workshop, deliver high levels of customer satisfaction, and lead a dynamic team of technicians and service advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with managing daily service operations and workflow in the workshop
* Provide leadership and support to the service team, fostering a positive and productive environment
* Coordinate service bookings, scheduling, and workshop efficiency
* Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a high standard of service and communication
* Support service administration, including warranty processing and invoicing
* Drive continuous improvement in service quality, safety, and profitability
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in a similar role within the automotive, transport, or heavy vehicle industry
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent customer service and communication abilities
* Sound mechanical knowledge of trucks or heavy vehicles (preferred)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
