This is a fixed term, part time vacancy available for 0.6 FTE, working 7am – 3pm or 8am to 4pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week for a period of 30 months, with the possibility of extension, for a further 30 months and/or permanency, subject to business requirements.

About The Role
Bunbury Regional Prison is located approximately 15 kilometres south of Bunbury on Centenary Road Southwest Highway, (off Boyanup Road). The prison is a medium security facility, with a separate pre-release unit housing minimum security offenders. Bunbury also accommodates a high number of vulnerable prisoners and is considered a leader in actively managing special needs offenders who would normally be placed in the mainstream in protection. Bunbury delivers high-level programs to offenders, including the medium and high intensity sex offender programs and medium intensity violent offender programmes.

The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for the accurate processing of all future rostering data, assist with contract and placement management for administration and Vocational Support Officer staffing as well as compiling reports as required.

– To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
