Description: We are seeking a passionate and capable Care Manager to join a well-established Residential Aged Care home. Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, this role is the second-in-command within the home and plays a critical part in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. The Role
* Lead the delivery of high-quality clinical and person-centred care
* Oversee clinical governance, compliance, audits and reporting
* Support accreditation readiness and continuous improvement initiatives
* Mentor, guide and develop nursing and care teams
* Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and families
* Assist in workforce planning, rostering and financial oversight
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys being present on the floor, supporting their team and driving a strong clinical culture.
About You
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a nursing management role (ward level or above)
* Demonstrated experience within Residential Aged Care
* Strong knowledge of clinical governance and aged care compliance
* Experience managing teams and contributing to budgets
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians
